About Me

I am a 28 year old stay-at-home mom married to my wonderful U.S. Marine Husband.  We have a 7 month old daughter.  I enjoy distance running (marathons, half-marathons, 10K), cooking, wine, chatting with friends, and any time spend with my husband.

I am originally from Madison, WI.  I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2006 with a BSE in Human Performance, Health, and Recreation and a minor in Health Promotion.  I served my internship at Mercy Health Systems Cardiac Rehab Center assisting in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.  I moved on to work for a leading retailer of top of the line home gym equipment - 2nd Wind Exercise.  I wanted to get back into health care and away from the sales end of things and joined the Hammer Chiropractic team in 2007 as a Chiropractic Assistant.  Here I taught rehabilitative and preventative exercises as well as performed non-invasive therapies.

I met and married my husband in 2009 and were sent straight out to California.  As I learned to navigate the Marine Corps life with a deployed husband and new geography, I finished up my Masters in Business Administration and stayed busy volunteering with my husband's unit and with the American Red Cross as an administrative volunteer.

After 2 years, 2 deployments, 2 moves, and one precious baby, here I am - trying to find balance between Marine Corps life, mommyhood, and career.
